Effortless Gatherings is a boutique party planning service founded in 2025 by Katie Milas, inspired by her lifelong passion for creating beautiful, stress-free celebrations. Specializing in elegant handmade decorations and full-service event coordination, Katie thoughtfully curates each event so you can relax and truly enjoy life’s special moments.

Raised in a U.S. Foreign Service family, Katie spent her childhood living around the globe—in South Africa, Ireland, Peru, Russia, and Turkey. Attending formal events hosted for diplomats and dignitaries from a young age gave her a deep appreciation for refined hospitality and seamless coordination. These experiences sparked her love for event planning and shaped her discerning eye for detail.

Her journey began with her own wedding in 2009, which she planned from start to finish. Since then, Katie has been the heart behind countless memorable celebrations for friends and family. After years of encouragement, she finally launched Effortless Gatherings—a boutique event service focused on intimate, meaningful gatherings that feel both intentional and easy.
